Track and Yak Express OCMD

6.5 Miles of Railbike fun followed by up to 2 Hours of kayaking!

Check in at our location in West Ocean City, less than 3 miles from the RT 50 Bridge with free parking. Please check in no later than 15 minutes before trip time. We make every effort to leave on time as scheduled, the 10:00 am trip the bus leaves at 10:00, the 12:00 trip, the bus leaves at 12:00, etc … If you are late or haven’t checked in you will miss the trip and will have to reschedule.

After check-in we’ll board the shuttle bus to and make our way to the charming town of Berlin, MD to ride the rails. On the quick ride over to the tracks we will go over instructions and safety procedures.

We’ll then board the bikes and ride the rails traversing nearly 7 miles of the railroad. Well pass through town, shaded woodland vast farmland, coastal pine forests. Restroom available along the route as needed.

When we return to our starting point in Berlin, the shuttle bus will arrive and get you to the second leg of our journey. It’s time to hit the water!
Explore Herring Creek and paddle back into secluded coves, around islands and past beautiful waterfront homes. Kayak at your own pace and explore the tidal creek for up to two hours. When you’re ready to call it a day, just paddle back to the launch and stroll up to the shop to let us know you’ve returned. Your vehicle will be parked right there and you can continue your adventures, or head back home for a nap!
