Pedal through America’s Coolest Small Town with our railbikes in Berlin, MD!
We depart from Berlin Maryland on the Eastern Shore and travel along the tracks and right of way that was established in 1877. When we reach our destination 6.5 miles south we will take a break at the Queponco Train Station. This is a historic depot that is now a museum and tribute to the history of the railroad’s importance on the peninsula. Our staff will get your bikes turned around and share some history with you about the station and region before we head back to Berlin.
This is a 13-mile round-trip excursion and requires riders to pedal moderately for the duration of the excursion. It is suggested that at least 2 people on each bike are able to moderately pedal for the duration of the trip. This excursion is for those that would prefer a more challenging experience. Although the pedaling is not difficult it is consistent, and there is minimal coasting as this is on flat terrain. Avid cyclists, outdoor enthusiasts and fitness fans this is your trip!
